We are currently seeking a self-motivated, proactive and energetic team member to join a busy locally owned and operated business in Christchurch in the role of Customer Service and Warehouse assistant on a Trades Counter.

This position is a vital operational role, and is key to the on-going success of the company. With a strong reputation in the market and a loyal client base that’s been built off the back of a quality promise and strong levels of customer service delivery - you will be responsible for ensuring that every interaction with an external client is positive and that nothing is an issue.

The ideal applicant will be able to work under pressure, provide efficient service , and will like to have fun at work! There’s a school of thought that suggests happy staff members are contagious and we want to ensure that all clients feel happy when dealing with you too!


In this role, no two days will be the same- and we want someone who will go the extra mile, has a ‘can do’ attitude and is solution focused when faced with difficult queries. You will be working as part of a large trade’s team on the trade counter. This role includes being a customer service wiz, order processing, picking items for orders, quoting, pricing, and counter/ telephone support. The position does require heavy lifting of up to $25kgs, so you will need to be fit with no outstanding medical or physcial ailments which could be further impacted by physical activity.
