your tasks


Working for the Finance Manager IT, you will be responsible for providing finance support to the Global IT department. The role includes providing financial oversight, budgeting and forecasting for this team

  • prepare and review monthly reporting of financial performance for Global IT capital projects. This includes working closely with project managers as well as producing reports for senior IT leaders
  • review, analyse, and route Capital Expenditure Requests for approval
  • provide monthly analysis and reporting as it relates to Global IT OpEx.
  • responsible for monthly period close activities. These would include by not limited to: monthly capitalization of internal resource calculations, monthly accruals, reclassification of expenses, etc.
  • compile monthly and/or quarterly reporting to ensure compliance with accounting standards and SoX controls
  • reviewing the success of capital projects after the fact and confirm the delivery
  • complete other ad-hoc financial tasks as required


  • 3-5 years post-qualified experience within a global organisation
  • fluent English
  • educated to degree level with Professional Accounting Qualification
  • willingness and ability to travel as required
  • excellent understanding of world class management accounting techniques and demonstrated track record in their implementation
  • strong leadership style, with the presence and ability to influence across functional boundaries and to gain respect and credibility at all levels in the organisation
  • passionate about performance improvement with a driven style characterised by high energy and the ability to energise others with his/her enthusiasm
  • comfortable with challenging others and being challenged and highly capable of establishing collaborative relationships in environments of conflict
  • self-motivated and takes the initiative – ability to work with limited supervision
  • good communication and influencing skills
  • SAP experience - required
  • advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, etc.
  • experience with Hyperion Reporting tools would be a plus
