your tasks

Purpose of the role:

As Senior Specialist (Subject Matter Expert People Recruiting), you will be drive and run Recruiting activities for Digital Procurement (contact with firms, the freelancer community). You will operate in cooperation with the Recruiting Operations Lead as part of the overall Business Operations team. You will supported by initially 1 employee in Zurich (the lead) and one colleague in Warsaw; later up to 2 other persons (one in Switzerland, Zurich and one in Poland, Warsaw). The Recruiting Operations also include two additional main tasks:

The Firm Scouting within the predefined regions within Switzerland

Furthermore you are responsible for the Special Projects (to take over complete sourcing requests including the digital procurement tool handling as well as re-vetting or other quality assurance activities as well as small service improvement projects within the team). 

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical understanding i.e. in the area’s mentioned before; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision in correlation with the wider business operations vision a reality. Help us make our Digital Procurement startup-up successful! :)

Main Duties:

  • Support Tool Service Desk and Incident Management, use the related Trouble Ticket System
  • Manage the People Recruiting together with the colleagues (as subject matter expert)
  • Analyzing large spend data sets and identifying saving opportunities and managing suppliers during the sourcing process
  • Creating and running RFx and auctions and doing a bid optimization analysis
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve specific performance goals for customers
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends in buying behavior in order to make recommendations to improve the customer experience through process efficiencies, cost savings, etc.
  • Review incoming requests for completeness and provide informed recommendations where needed to ensure completeness of spec data that is sent to market for pricing
  • Review pricing responses / proposals for accuracy (pricing, specifications, etc.) comparing to historical information when applicable

what we expect

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of banking value chain
  • Very Strong Recruiting Knowledge (work experience); experience in the swiss market is an advantage
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement fundamentals
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German (and Italian would be an advantage)
  • Customer service driven mentality and strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration within team, with business partners, and with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Business knowledge and application of business strategies; effectively evaluate costs/benefits of varying options and demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results
