Responsibilities
Processing Support Officer- Halifax
As a Processing Support Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of production workflows and schedules to meet Service Level Standard (SLS) commitments. Your responsibilities will include:
Serving as the primary point of contact and functional support for resolving operational issues.
Managing and monitoring workflow processes, assigning work activities, and reallocating resources to meet deadlines.
Opening internal Incident Records (IR) and notifying help desk for support in day-to-day operations.
Advising or escalating non-compliance and production issues to Assistant Managers.
Tracking Client Billing Reporting (CBR) volumes and supporting preparation activities for audits.
Optimizing department performance by reviewing processes and providing improvement recommendations.
Supporting operators in achieving daily productivity targets through equipment setups and troubleshooting.
Conducting investigations on processing errors and accounting differences.
Collaborating with management to ensure effective schedules and cross-training activities.
Providing backup support for Assistant Managers and ensuring client requirements are met.
Continuously improving efficiencies through the implementation of new technology solutions.
Ensuring operators follow Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Providing training on procedures, decision techniques, and equipment handling.
Testing new technology and validating processes for new or existing clients.
Exchanging information and influencing others in matters of workflow process management.
Interacting with clients and equipment vendors to ensure effective delivery of products and services.
Qualifications

Strong Excel skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Previous experience in a Team Leader role.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
