Procurement Specialist
Randstad are currently recruiting multiple procurement opportunities within the Perth utilities sector. These roles are working with market leaders, you'll have the opportunity to experience flexibility, independence, and collaborate with industry leaders. Contracts are available for duration spanning from 3 to 12 months, with rates varying accordingly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the development and implementation of capital procurement plans.
- Leading complex procurement processes and commercial negotiations relating to capital / construction projects.
- Leading key commercial negotiations and ensuring true partnership is achieved with your suppliers
- Acting as a lead or “go-to” person within the capital procurement team, which will see you mentor and support the broader category team.
Key requirements include:
- An in depth level of capital projects procurement from any industry such as mining, utilities, wind, solar, construction, or similar
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary procurement and supply chain practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or commerce, and MCIPS qualifications or similar industry equivalent are desired.
