Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a dedicated, seasoned professional to work with them as a Project Manager on various schemes in and around the OXford area! The role is working for a reputable construction company specializing in the conversion of Grade II listed buildings, educational builds, healthcare projects, and high-end residential schemes. Managing projects in the region of £1-5m as the Number One on site is essential for this role, however the company would consider a Senior Site manager seeking to take a step up.
As a Project Manager, the chosen applicant will be at the forefront of our diverse portfolio, overseeing and managing a variety of projects across different sectors. Their responsibilities will include:
- Leading project teams to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project requirements and objectives.
- Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitoring project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Managing stakeholder expectations and providing regular updates and reports.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster repeat business and referrals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on Grade II listed conversions, educational, healthcare, and high-end residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction project management principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
