Responsibilities
Industrial Engineering:
Conduct thorough analysis to comprehend, document, and improve the current state of operations.
Bridge the gap between the current and desired states by defining project requirements.
Lead the design process to develop optimal solutions.
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with the Vendor Management Office (VMO) to articulate requirements and execute sourcing strategies.
Review vendor contracts and ensure compliance.
Own the vendor relationship, overseeing their performance, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Project Management:
Coordinate tasks, establish timelines, and manage budgets to ensure successful project completion.
Define project scope in collaboration with business leadership, including Executive Sponsorship.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, milestones, and dependencies.
Monitor budget, forecast expenses, and implement necessary changes.
Identify required resources and manage associated risks and issues.
Uphold project governance standards, including RAID management, status reporting, change control, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing high-investment contracts and projects exceeding $20M.
Proficiency in vendor management, including procurement processes and contract negotiation.
Expertise in designing and implementing Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and Auto-Palletization.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Excel, and project management tools like MS Project.
Ability to program automation equipment and integrate with warehouse management software.
Understanding of labor standards and their implications in project planning and execution.
