About the role
Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will represent and build the brand within Australian media. You will:
...
- Work closely with the global Public Relations team in Asia whilst focusing on all aspects of corporate and consumer Public Relations (including short & long lead media, digital and influencer).
- Collaborate cross functionally on any crisis communications management.
- Provide Public Relations counsel to management on issues that impact brand sentiment.
- Develop strong, positive, direct relationships with media and content partners and agencies.
- Coach and mentor brand spokespeople at any level of the business.
- Create and manage all media engagement including events, activations, brand/product endorsements and sponsored editorial.
- Look after Public Relations budgets including all budgeting, invoice processing and relevant vendor management
Note: You may be required to travel interstate and internationally, as well as attend events + travel outside of regular business hours.
About you:
- Minimum 6 years experience in Public Relations, ideally within a brand or agency environment, working with fashion or retail brands
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to generate editorial copy
- Experience working with a global brand ideally in a cross-cultural environment
- Experience in managing high profile brand ambassadors for positive Public Relations outcomes
- Experience managing influencer campaigns with a data driven approach
- Previous people management experience required
