... - Act as the primary point of contact for assigned tech and corporate clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and exceptional service.
- Develop and execute comprehensive Public Relations strategies and campaigns that align with clients' business objectives and target audiences.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, messaging, and target markets, and provide strategic counsel on Public Relations initiatives.
- Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch compelling story angles to relevant journalists, editors, and influencers within the tech and corporate sectors.
- Write and edit press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, and other Public Relations materials with a focus on the technology and corporate industries.
- Coordinate and manage media relations activities, including press conferences, media interviews, and media events.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports to clients that highlight key messages and reach.
- Manage client budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and delivering campaigns within budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, digital, and social media, to integrate Public Relations initiatives with other marketing activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Public Relations, particularly within the tech and corporate sectors.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on tech and corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of the technology and corporate sectors, including trends, key players, and media landscape.
- Proven track record in successfully managing Public Relationscampaigns and delivering results for tech and corporate clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and tailor them to different audiences.
- Strong media relations skills, with an established network of media contacts within the tech and corporate sectors.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to provide strategic counsel to clients and develop creative Public Relations initiatives.
- Proficiency in using Public Relations software and tools for media monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience in crisis communications and issues management is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire junior team members.
- Professional demeanor, with the ability to represent the agency and clients in a polished and professional manner.
