Responsibilities
• Managing a team of outside and inside sales reps across the region
• Closely monitor the competitors, markets, products, threats, and business opportunities, and take the necessary actions
• Provide effective management of sales territories and guide efforts to achieve the desired sales and profits
• Engage with major clients to better understand their needs and optimize the partnership – proposals, costing, quotes, etc.
• Working with the sales reps to ensure sales targets, and KPIS are met and exceeded
• Work with various internal/ external stakeholders to identify gaps
• Participation in the development of the company’s business strategy

Qualifications
• Post-secondary Education – Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent - Mechanical or Civil Engineering an asset
• Previous leadership experience (minimum 3 years) - managing a sales team - hiring, coaching, mentoring, etc.
• Construction/ specification/ building materials experience as an asset
• Effectively provide leadership and guidance across branches to both internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinker as well as a tactical executer
• Strong communication skills, analytical skills, business acumen, and knowledge
• Exemplary relationship building, relationship management skills, ability to build trust with internal stakeholders and provide a positive influence
• Passion and drive for results
