The Manufacturing Technician I (MT-I) is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to Operations and Engineering. ⮚ AAS degree or equivalent, in a technical discipline; mechanical or manufacturing  engineering preferred. ⮚ One to three years’ experience providing technical support in a manufacturing  environment. Skills and Knowledge ⮚ General fabrication and assembly experience. ⮚ computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications. ⮚ multi-tasking skills. Can complete several concurrent tasks in an efficient and  accurate manner. ⮚ Open minded “thinker” with creative tendencies. ⮚ Experience working in fast paced, dynamic environment, with limited supervision: self starter. ⮚ Ability to be part of a team and communicate effectively with all levels within the  organization.Responsibilities⮚ Read mechanical drawings and electric schematics to ensure product specification and  tolerances are met. ⮚ Troubleshoot equipment, manage calibration and preventive maintenance processes;  which include process documentation and production records. ⮚ Equipment programming, setup and operation for manufacturing to ensure product  specifications are met. ⮚ Perform mechanical assembly and fabrication. ⮚ Design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing by collaborating with mechanical and  electrical engineering teams. ⮚ Assists in creating, modifying and revising manufacturing work instructions and process  flow documentation. ⮚ Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions. ⮚ Understands and practices TOC and Lean initiatives in daily work. ⮚ All other duties as assigned.
