about the company:
Randstad is partnering with a top MNC that specializes in producing and distributing laminate products. The company is expanding their footprint in Malaysia and looking for a Assistant Sales Manager as part of their growth strategy.
duties and responsibility:
- Targeting key accounts including architects, interior designers, developers, contractors, and associated stakeholders to promote products.
- Record and manage all relevant data in the CRM system, including project files, customer information, and daily visit reports.
- Develop a project pipeline for the southern region (Johor Bharu and Malacca).
- Actively pursue new leads and generate business opportunities.
- Strategize and implement business plans effectively.
- Collaborate closely with distributors to secure specification projects.
- Gather market intelligence regarding competitors and market shifts.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, including delivering product presentations, demonstrations, technical support, and addressing product claims.
- Meet individual and group key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the department head.
skill/experience:
- Must possess at least a Degree in marketing, management or related areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM system
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- At least 5 years in working experience as sales role
- Experience in Construction Project sales, other surfacing material (Laminate, Wallpaper, Carpets etc) will definitely be an advantage.
- Willing to travel outstation (Johor and Malacca)
- Must be own transport
