For our client Fortive / ASP, we are currently looking for a 100% :


This position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of facilities maintenance operations for a medical device manufacturing and R&D site, and reports to the Director of Operations. Facilities operations are integrated into the quality management system and production processes and are critical to continued plant operations. You will work closely with a team of professionals in a fast-paced, but
highly regulated environment.

Here's where you'll demonstrate your competencies:

  • Maintain the elements of facilities including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, access control, audio / visual, building automation, building envelope, carpet and flooring, doors, furniture systems, fire safety systems, food and beverage equipment, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and supporting equipment
  • Identify and manage external contractors to perform various skilled and semi-skilled tasks to maintain the facilities.
  • Manage preventive and request maintenance to the facilities/infrastructure and maintain the facilities aspects of a joint CMMS.
  • Manage scheduling and overseeing the work performed by various contractors such as, but not limited to fork lifts, UPS, breaker testing, fire systems testing
  • Budget development and cost control for facility related items.
  • Anticipate space needs and manage stakeholders and decision process during ongoing space planning
  • Monitor and maintain or improve building condition
  • Assure effective and compliant work environment
  • Manage relationship with Property Management company and related vendorsDirect relocation when necessary
  • Provide good stewardship of property as an asset manager
  • Oversee physical security of property


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressively responsible, related experience, including significant experience in property management
  • Well-developed computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to create new policies, procedures and processes
  • Ability to maintain confidential, sensitive information
  • Excellent organizational ability with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work on multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently as well as a member of a team
