Process Engineer

For a temporary assignment at 100%

The main purpose of this position is to contribute in defining and designing the Reduced Risk Product (RRP) Quality Management System, transfer product and process knowledge between development and manufacturing and support the Product & Process development activity in ensuring appropriate Characterization, Control, Validation and Monitoring of the manufacturing processes in adherence with relevant internal and external requirements.

Typical activities:

  • Lead the transfer of product and process knowledge between development and manufacturing
  • Lead cross-functional teams acting on specific Product & Process improvement projects and liaise with related partners to ensure appropriate deployment, assessment and knowledge transfer within Operations.
  • Lead or participate in the development of Study and Investigation plans/reports, in the issue and review of Process Qualification protocols, and deploy Corrective, Preventive and Improvement activities (CAPAIA) meeting targeted objectives in accordance with our QMS
  • Monitor Product & Process Performance to verify adherence to the specification, assess trends and capability of the manufacturing process and highlights to concerned parties areas that requires specific attention. Transfer assessment expertise and practice to the manufacturing centers to ensure self standing operations

qualification

  • University Degree in Biological sciences, Engineering or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience
  • Experience in engineering in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry would be an asset
  • Fluency in English both oral and written, with good communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical & learning capability and achievement orientation
  • Team player and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-developed IT skills (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
