Project Assistant

Open-ended position - 100%

As a Product Characterization Scientific Project Assistant you will provide support to the different projects lead by the scientists in the team and create balance in the time and scope of executing projects under the direct supervision of the project coordinators.

Responsabilities:

  • Updating on a regular basis the project planning tracking file thus allowing for an up-to-date quick and easy status overview for the ongoing projects lead by the project coordinators
  • Enhance throughput of results delivered to the clients by providing support to the project coordinators in their daily activities duties related to testing request processing and data consolidation:
    • Processing of standard testing requests using the required systems
    • Pre-filling the results consolidation templates with relevant data
    • Check availability on a regular basis and transfer delivered results as soon as available in the relevant templates for facilitating their compilation by the scientists
    • Verify data integrity by performing double-checks on the compiled results
    • Coordinate and follow-up simple, standard projects by liaising with internal and external labs under the supervision of the project coordinator
    • Provide support for archiving by collecting the necessary documents from the different laboratories and organizing them in the prepared binders

qualification

Education: CFC lab technician or equivalent

Work experience: 1-3 years experience with data analysis

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills
