For a long term temporary assignment for our client, the company Philip Morris International, based in Lausanne, we are seeking for an:

Retail analytics specialist

Temporary assignment

You will be responsible for understanding and advancing the company's knowledge of customer behavior through analytics in order to develop strategies to specific customer segments as well as enhancing the customer experience from a quantitative and qualitative prospection.

You will continuously create and follow-up on retail activities and the development of an impactful business strategy - improving the customer and consumer satisfaction and experience delivery - whilst delivering key business KPI's on various levels.

You will proactively support in the development of - and deploy plans and programs for certified retailer network through collaboration with relevant functions and markets.

You will identify segmentation of customers in accordance to consumer profile, end to end delivery of critical experience and link to business model & requirements

You will design measurement models that integrates consumer KPIs within related episodes of consumer journey and link with business KPIs & Sales Fundamentals

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Tracks, analyzes and reports on quantitative and qualitative data measurements

  • Transforms data into actionable strategic insights and recommendations to optimize omni-channel customer experience, working together with various stakeholders

  • KPI target planning and follow up throughout the different channels


  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Data Science or comparable. Master's degree a plus.

  • Strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Experience in retail analysis/ reporting & planning (or similar)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Entrepreneurial; ability to drive forward with goals independently.
