Our client, an international pharmaceutical company in Zug, is currently looking for a Supply Planner 100%

The Supply Planner is part of a multicultural team and responsible for the supply of finished products manufactured by external suppliers. He/She ensures continuous supply to our warehouse at the right inventory level and costs in order to serve our customers in a timely manner. He/She is responsible to mitigate any impacts to customer service due to demand and/or supply constraints. He/She works directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes in order to achieve our business goals and objectives.

He/She identifies and implements process and system improvements and supports other supply chain projects that gets assigned to him/her.

Supply of Materials

  • Requirements Calculation for purchased finished goods.

  • Single point of contact for all topics related to purchased finished goods.

  • Inform the Supply Planning Manager of supply issues that might impact the customer service and take immediate actions with the supplier to avoid supply interruptions.

  • Drive S&OP process with partners.

Managing relationships with the External suppliers

  • Validation and submission of the consolidated forecast to the supplier.

  • Order Alignment between the different ERP systems and reconciliation of orders with suppliers each month.

  • Resolve invoice mismatches related to Quantity/Shipment Date Mismatches. Working with Procurement to resolve price discrepancies.

Inventory Management

  • Inform the Supply Planning Manager of potential service risks due to low inventory levels and supply issues/delays as early as possible.

  • Work closely with procurement and challenge lead-time and minimum order quantities in order to reduce inventory levels.

Product Data and Lifecycle Management

Ensure that system parameters are maintained and updated e.g. lead-time, minimum order quantity, multiple order quantity etc.

qualification

Required skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred.

  • At least 3 years' experience in Supply Chain.

  • Solid ERP/Planning system knowledge and computer skills with different MS Office applications.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and an aptitude for planning.

  • Ability to develop data queries to support day-to-day activities and ad-hoc requirements.

  • Strong team player having a professional approach to both internal and external partners.

  • Business fluent in English. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and in writing.

  • Building collaborative partnerships with business partners in a global organization.

  • Proactive approach, strong team-player with cross-departmental-thinking.

  • Accuracy with attention to detail.
