Key Responsibilities:

- Mental Health Advocacy: Act as an advocate for students, ensuring their mental health and emotional needs are addressed within the school environment.
- Communication Bridge: Serve as a key communication link between the school and families, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged in the student's educational journey.
- Inclusive Education: Assist in the creation and delivery of an inclusive curriculum that is accessible to students with SEMH needs.
- Positive Role Modelling: Model positive behaviour and provide emotional support, helping students develop resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.
Requirements:
- Relevant Experience: Experience working with children, particularly those who have SEMH needs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and educational staff.
- Passion for Supporting Children: A genuine desire to help children with emotional and mental health challenges succeed in a school setting.
- Adaptability: The ability to adapt to various educational and behavioural needs and effectively implement individualised strategies.
- Educational Background: A background in psychology, education, social work, or a related field is beneficial; specific training in SEMH support is highly regarded.
