Responsibilities:
Support learners individually, in small groups, and in whole-class settings
Foster a nurturing, caring, and supportive environment, promoting safety and enjoyment in the learning journey
Contribute to delivering high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities aligned with a diverse curriculum
Aim to help pupils realize their full potential across all learning domains
Communicate with parents and carers regarding pupils' progress, actively participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events
Requirements:
Relevant childcare experience (voluntary or paid) (Must provide references)
Experience working or volunteering with SEN (desirable)
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
Enhanced DBS
All experience levels considered; ideal candidates are flexible, resilient, and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN (direct SEN experience not essential)
Relevant experience/knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
