Randstad is partnering with a German based MNC company that specializes in the production and supply of additives (chemicals) for the plastics industry. The company is expanding their sales team and looking for a talented Senior Sales Engineer to be part of their growing team.
duties and responsibilities
- Directs and oversees the implementation of product sales and marketing operations within assigned regions.
- Executes improvements and realignments as needed for optimal marketing operations.
- Responsible for meeting sales budgets, targets, and key initiatives within the designated area.
- Collaborates with the supervisor for strategic consultation.
- Explores and identifies new markets and business opportunities.
- Conducts promotional and developmental activities with plastics recycling and polymer customers in the region.
- Develops and penetrates customers in the recycling industry.
- Prepares monthly sales reports, forecasts, annual sales budgets, and targets.
- Develops mid-term strategic business sales plans and visit reports.
skill and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry) or Materials Engineering (Polymer) or Polymer Technology
- Candidates with experience in plastics, polymer, resin, compounds and master batcher chemicals will have added advantage
- Experience in dealing within the chemical industry would be considered
