about the company
An established fund management firm based in Singapore is seeking for a talented Accountant (REIT) to take on a newly-created role. In this job, you will be responsible for ensuring the management of a portfolio of more than 20 legal entities.

about the job

  • Prepare and analyse all relevant accounting records as well as month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
  • Quarterly consolidation activities
  • Responsible for the treasury functions
  • Assist with the monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis to the US HQ
  • Prepare quarterly GST reporting, annual statutory income tax computations and work with the in-house and external tax agents to ensure timely and accurate submission
  • Prepare deferred tax computations
  • Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly G&A, tax budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with the annual XBRL filing
  • Ensure compliance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) as well as US GAAP

The successful Accountant (REIT) must have a good understanding of SFRS and US GAAP in addition to being familiar with the Singapore legislation.

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional qualifications
  • Experience in Consolidation will be a plus
  • A minimum of two to three years' relevant experience with REIT company
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively, with a high degree of commitment to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
