about the job

This role reports directly to the Sales Director (ASEAN) and is responsible for focusing on major opportunities in Construction and general Industrial markets, leading the current sales team and identifying and developing business opportunities. You will be responsible for driving and executing sales strategies and revenue targets within the company
Some of the core duties of the role include:

  • Forecasting and achieving revenue targets by establishing goals and annual sales budget for the business unit, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
  • Lead and drive an accomplished sale team to greater heights through mentorship and coaching
  • Maintaining strong key account relationships within market and working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Portray strong leadership and management characteristics to motivate the sales force
  • Contribute to the company’s developing corporate direction, especially with relation to sales targets

skills and experience required

To be successful in this crucial role, you should have more than 10 years experience of sales in Safety products within related industries (Construction, Industrial) with at least 3 years of executive management experience and should ideally possess the following:

  • Degree in Engineering disciplines
  • 5 years experience managing country sales and also have a strong contact lists within region
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work in a cross cultural/cross functional environment
  • Good planning and organization skills
  • Strong financial acumen, setting and achieving targets
