This is a new role - the client is looking for an IT Administrator.



about the job

You will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

You will be required to:

  • Response to end-users’ requests, incidents or problems via phone / remote / email.
  • Determine incidents’ and problems’ root cause and provide timely solutions.
  • Provide support to end-users in troubleshooting and resolving of desktop PC, laptops, servers
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults by provide support and troubleshoot hardware and software to end-users via phone / remote / email / on-site support.
  • Setup new user accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
  • Office365 mailboxes and distribution group administration.
  • Backup and reformat existing desktop PC and laptops for reuse.

This is a permanent role, with bonuses and good benefits.



skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Diploma/Degree in IT
  • Min 3 years relevant experience in IT support (helpdesk, onsite)
  • Technical knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and troubleshooting of PC server & Network related issues.
  • Preferably with VMWare VSphere, Citrix Hypervisor and StorageCraft ShadowProtect administration knowledge.
  • Customer service oriented and good problem solver with strong analytical skills.
