Supplying for tier-1 blue chip company, this firm takes pride in the quality of their products and people who have helped them grow to a whooping EUR 1.5bn business. They have a strong retention rate for both their customers and people within. Consequently, they are hiring a new Junior Controller position to join the collaborative finance team, to add value in the management reporting & credit analysis portion.

about the job
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your portfolio will be split into three: management reporting of monthly P/L, credit risk analysis of customers, and controls improvement projects. You will be the key finance person to partner with commercial team, sharing your input in client’s credit worthiness, strategise which business to focus on based their limits, payments schedule, liquidity position, and profitability. Meanwhile, you will also step into the financial planning & analysis function to manage the company’s P/L.

Skills and experience required
To be successful in this role, you need to be a strong communicator, self-starter, who is willing to contribute and initiate improvement projects for the organisation. You should also be collaborative, able to speak up and share ideas with the team.

Some key skills and experience that you will require include:
- Degree in accounting/finance with relevant professional qualifications
- Experience in management reporting, credit controlling, analysis and worthiness
- Commodities / trade / wholesale industry exposure is a plus
- Dynamic self starter, who is not afraid to speak up and share ideas
