about the job

  • Strategy and concept translation, localisation, adaptation, setup, planning, budgeting and reporting

  • Project support and execution of regular steering committees and interdepartmental alignment with regional field force

  • Project introduction to local importers, rollout coordination, mobilization of relevant internal and external stakeholders

  • Management of consultant’s activities in combination with monitoring of project quality, effectiveness and efficiency

  • Project roll out and follow up on-site support and follow up with key stakeholders

  • Continuous monitoring of action items progress and initiation of correction measures

  • Identification and initiation of regional improvement opportunities

  • Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives within a variety of spend categories and across the region

  • Take full responsibility of one or more projects and project teams being responsible for all aspects of the project from identifying opportunities through execution and implementation

  • Align regional project activities with overall global category management strategies

  • Instrumental in ensuring that Supply Chain and Procurement best practices are transferred to the country organisations.

skills and experience required

  • Minimum 5 experience with structured cross-functional sourcing projects, with proven results in project execution and cost reductions

  • Relevant degree within business, supply chain or similar.

  • Thrives in a global organisation and has the energy and drive to work in a cross-cultural environment.

  • Ability to manage projects and stakeholders located in various countries and functional areas within the global organisation.

  • Ability to break complex processes into sizable chunks, and ensure traction through relentless follow-up and ongoing problem-solving

  • Analytical skills and the ability to overview complex situations, schedules and projects.

  • Strong problem-solving skills supporting a total cost of ownership mindset.

  • Highly resilient and manages ambiguity

  • Uses a fact based and data driven approach to solutions combined with persistence in making things better.
