about the job

You will report to your Global VP of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, and be responsible for oversight, implementation, maintenance and improvement of Regulatory and Quality (Q&RA) functions within Australasia Commercial affiliates and distributors. You will directly manage a Commercial affiliate quality team with members based across multiple territories in the region, and act as a strategic partner to regional commercial operation. You will:

  • Constantly develop and enhance relationships with authorities and advocacies in the region
  • Provide regulatory and compliance intelligence to guide commercial operations
  • Continually develop Commercial Quality systems, infrastructure, and processes, to ensure continued supply of high-quality products into markets
  • Manage regional Quality and Regulatory Affairs budget; directly supervise and develop Q&RA personnels in the region



skills and experience required

  • Degree in science or healthcare-related discipline
  • 10 years’ of regulatory affairs management experience in a medical device, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), or pharmaceuticals company
  • Thorough knowledge of IVD regulations / quality systems / audits in Australasia territories
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change upwardly and laterally across the business
  • Proven people management experience
