about the job

You will report to your regional Service Business Manager, and be responsible for technical support provided across Asia Pacific region. You will educate, train, and manage your distributors to ensure a consistent service branding that quality service is always provided to end-customers regardless of their location. You will:

  • Directly supervise a small team of Regional Field Service Engineers
  • Take P&L responsibilities for Service Contract sales and delivery
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical support when a user challenge is escalated from distributors
  • Conduct trainings for distributors to improve their technical capacity on a regular basis
  • Closely partner with Sales teams to ensure alignment of business goals





skills and experience required

  • Degree or above, in Engineering, Science, or Business
  • 5 years+ experience in a Service Manager position with any Scientific Instrumentation company
  • 5 years+ experience supporting distributors in South-east Asia or Asia Pacific region, covering at least 7 territories
  • Willingness to travel for up to 40% of the time in Asia Pacific region
