job description

Randstad is looking for high potentials to join our International Finance Management Program
Are you ready to accelerate your finance career within one of the leading staffing companies in the world? We are currently looking for a high potential to join our International Finance Management Program (IFMP).

In the IFMP you will build your finance career fundament and prove yourself to become one of our future finance leaders. The 2 year program consists of 3 assignments, where 2 assignments will be at our Swedish headquarter in Stockholm and 1 will be an international exchange assignment to another Randstad company. Within 2 years you will develop both your finance skills and the key competences you need to become a successful finance leader in the future. Are you ready to join the challenge to build the best world league finance function?

Your role
You will start your first assignment within the financial planning & control team. You will be part of the team that prepares and analyzes the monthly results and reports the results both to the management team in Sweden and the head quarter in the Netherlands. Strategic planning, preparing the forecast and challenging the organization based on the outcome of your analyses, will be key in your role.

You will be challenged to drive continuous improvements in our processes and will take part in several projects as well. To support a steep learning curve, you can expect projects in the broad area of finance, from business control related projects to LEAN projects to enhance efficiency in our administrative processes for example.

Next to your three assignments, you will be part of the International Finance Management trainee group and together with your fellow IFMP colleagues you will have joint webinars on several topics, trainings (e.g. how to pitch yourself) and intervision sessions. You will take part in one of the international finance conferences and within small IFMP teams you will work on Randstad business cases sponsored by one of the Randstad CFO’s.

Your background
You have a master degree, preferably in economics or science, and you are in the early stage of your career with 0-4 years of relevant working experience.

You need to have applied understanding of business processes, business control and accounting next to related technical areas such as risk management and overall understanding of other finance disciplines.

You are a highly experienced user of MS Excel and find your way easily within most systems.

Working for a global company in an international setting requires excellent communication skills in English (speaking & writing) in addition to sufficient comprehension of the Swedish language.

Your competences
You bring strong analytical skills and have the ability to grasp complex cases rather quickly, yet being able to explain them in a simple manner. You like challenges and have the ability to connect details and the bigger picture, you are persistent and resilient, you do not give up easily.

You have a keen eye for identifying (improvement) opportunities, and with your curious and open mindset and your challenging and convincing style you make sure you have impact.

You are eager to learn and have a broad interest in exploring all aspects from the finance function.

We would like to receive your application/Motivationletter and CV in English ultimately on the 25th of May. Please note that pre-selected candidates will be invited to a selection day in the middle of June, during this day you will present a business case and will have speed date sessions with several Randstad representatives.
