TITLE: Tinting Technician

SHIFT : 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Must be flexible to train during the Days for the first 4 weeks
PAY: $17.00 per hour + $2.00 afternoon shift premium
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that quality system requirements are effectively followed and maintained.
• Strives to Exceeds Expectations in reaching production targets.
• Interface with other departments within the facility (A/R, Finishing, and Surfacing, Preproduction)
to resolve issues.
• Support the operation in maintaining and improving costs, quality and delivery in all areas.
• Sort jobs according the types of tinting
• Processing lenses in the tint, solid gradient, etc to get the desired colours as requested by customers
• Tracking and scanning jobs to the correct work locations/stations
• Scanning frames out of the section and re-binning for next department
• Take the initiative to notice and follow-up on discrepancies: suggests improvements;
recommends solutions and does what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete and file all necessary facility and lab paperwork thoroughly, accurately and on time.
• Ensures all storage areas/equipment are labeled per guidelines
• Willingness to be cross trained in other areas.
• Other duties as assigned
