We are looking for a "Demand Planning Manager” to join the team of our international client operating in FMCG sector.

Defines sales volumes to be inserted in planning forecast by analysing - on the base of input received from Marketing, Sales and Trade Marketing - former data and taking into consideration commercial activities, promotional and media actual and future plans
Monitors sales in order to identify potential criticalities on sales plan
Analyses market coverage (sales strategies) and proposes the best solution to improve it, taking into consideration freshness, convenience, client service level and return product risk
Updates weekly sales plans and related sharing with local Marketing and Supply Chain Department
Releases sales plan to SNP in order to verify the supply chain constraints
Defines forecasting tool / methodology for sales volumes and global spending related to promo activities
Evaluates promotions’ impacts on sales plans (decisions on promo undertaken by Marketing and Trade Marketing)
Contributes in resolving variances between ending-estimation and company turnover objectives (by changing brand, tastes and formats mix), taking into consideration market opportunities and sponsoring promotional initiatives
Guarantees the right management of sales peaks, by minimizing the risk of stock’s breakout, improving product freshness and reducing returned products as well as catching and understanding timely all signals coming from the market
Analyses actual data and historical data of sales in order to adjust future estimations and improve the forecast accuracy


University degree
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Demand Planning related areas
Excellent Communication skills in English
Very good level of MS Office Applications
Very good level of SAP knowledge
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Good communication and coordination skills
Ambitious, confident and able to take initiative
