Primary Teacher in the UAE

The requirements

We are looking for a primary teacher that is energetic, positive, flexible and has a passion for learning and striving for excellence - both in teaching the students as develop personally and professionally yourself.

To be a successful applicant you must have the following qualifications and experience/attributes

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education ORa Bachelor of Teaching and Learning
  • Have experience working with and excellent knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
  • A minimum of 2 years experience teaching in Australia
  • A current valid Australian Teachers Registration
  • Under 62 years of age (visa requirement)
  • Have completed year 10/11/12 in High School and able to proof this (visa requirement)
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity as you will be working in a different country
  • Able to start in August/September

Desirable experience

  • International experience, either through working or traveling abroad
  • Working with the International Baccalaureate
  • Having taught the Queensland Curriculum

  • Accommodation provided is only small and not able to house families with multiple children
