About Our Client

Are you a Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge to progress your career in Education and Care, whilst working at a new and bespoke school?

I am currently recruiting for a school based in Bolton which has specialist facilities to provide a spacious, calm and safe environment in which young people can thrive and learn.

This role involves assisting young adults within the school's enrichment centre, helping with personal care and supporting staff to manage behaviour that arises from the students' special needs and learning difficulties.


Job Responsibilities:



* Supporting the class teacher/support worker.
* Working with children individually and in small groups
* Encouraging children and young adults to reach their potential.


Preferred Skills:



* Special educational needs experience.
* TA Qualifications
* DBS certificate (adult and child)
* A willingness to encourage young adults to succeed
* A caring and patient personality.
* Personal care experience.
