2nd Line Support Engineer - Chippenham

We are looking for a 2nd line support engineer to join a leading developer of software platforms and tech solutions across multiple sectors including defence, security, maritime, government, commercial, space and more.

This role will be part of the corporate IT function that looks after the entirety of the companies IT infrastructure. As the successful candidate you will be required to deliver 2nd line support to their clients via a service desk arrangement, following ITIL guidelines. This will involve working in other company locations so you must be able to travel when required. The role will also involve mentoring the junior members of the team to improve their development and help them reach their full potential.

As the successful candidate you will have:



* ITIL qualification
* Office 365, Active Directory & Windows OS, 7, 10, 2008 and 2012
* Basic networking, including VLANS and firewall rules is desirable
* Linux Administration, Apache, LDAP, shell scripts is desirable
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and Germany
* Must be able to obtain security a clearance (SC) and other equivalent clearance
