Account Manager

Account Manager / Internal Sales - Immediate start - Cirencester

Are you a customer focused, professional and organised and seeking work in the Cirencester area?

Do you have proven Customer service, sales or account management skills and enjoy making a positive customer journey?

Our leading Construction supplier is seeking a motivated and professional Account Manager / Internal Sales Coordinator to join the team on a permanent basis

Working within the Internal sales Department, you will help provide quotations, gain market intel, coordinate sales and process client orders, coordinate delivery and monitor product movement and staff performance. You will help play a key role in the client project management by ensuring vital products are available at key stages.



* Immediate start
* Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)
* Up to £23k + Benefits (depending on experience)

Duties Include:



* Account manage and maintain contact with major Customers and Prospects to generate written and verbal enquiries whilst converting the maximum number of quotations into orders within approved pricing levels
* Provide verbal and written quotations within price list parameters.
* Convert enquiries into orders at the best possible contribution to maximise profitability
* To proactively identify, target, chase and secure new business opportunities, directly and through trading partners
* Maintain the highest level of Customer Service by ensuring a prompt response to Customer enquiries.
* Ensure product is planned to site within given time frames
* Pro-actively target new and lapsed customers
* Proactively promote the full product range to all customers within the territory
* Manage all sample requests from internal and external sources. Arrange for these to be provided within stated time-scales and as directed by the appropriate sales personnel.
* Follow up Samples and provide relevant personnel with updates.
* Service existing accounts, maximising sales opportunities and margin
* Work with designers and project managers to ensure product delivery and specification
