Engineering Account Manager - Surrey / London - Large Corporate Account - 60-65K

One of our major clients is currently looking to recruit an Engineering Account Manager to join one of their large corporate accounts based in London and the South.

The client is a large global brand and the role will be looking after a number their properties including their head office and other associated buildings. The main buildings are based in Surrey and London and there are also other buildings across the southern region.

The main aim of the role will include the day to day running of the contract, ensuring all statutory and mandatory tasks are undertaken, carrying out site visits, staff training, review and comment on operational issues, amendment and review of the contract asset database and PPM/Lifecycle plan.

Other duties include:

* Control of visiting specialist contractors, producing quotations for repair and project work.
* Ensure client requirements are met and relationships are met and exceeded.
* Ensure all PPM's, reactive and proactive maintenance works are carried out in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Produce monthly operating, financial and resource reports for the operations manager.
* Be responsible for budgets and make sure targets are met.
* Manage and develop staff under your control and make sure sub contractors are compliant.
* Ensure company procedures are followed at all times.

The package includes the following:

* Salary - up to 65K.

Applicants for the role must be able to meet the following criteria:

* Minimum of City & Guilds Craft Qualification Certificate and demonstrable experience in a trade discipline
* Computer literate.
* Planning and Organisational skills
* Flexible with the ability to work under pressure whilst looking for continual improvements to service delivery.
* Ability to grasp requirements effectively and to relate to the service provisions of the Contract
* NEBOSH Qualified
* Have held an Authorised Person (Trade Discipline Specific)
* Certification in Risk Assessment
* ISO Standards Internal Auditor
* Management of Legionella, Water Quality Management
* IOSH Certificate in Managing Safety
* High level of practical knowledge of relevant employment, Health and Safety and general legislative requirements
* Experienced at a professional level with a proven track record of building services management and building asset (plant and equipment) operations in a complex building services environment.
* Experience of direct labour management of subcontracting staff.
