Having been established for over 50 years this exciting organisation supply very specialist products predominately into the public sector, your task would be to introduce these products to existing & new customers across the UK

What is the Role?

* You will be responsible for building relationship across the UK with points of contacts in each County
* The role is both office based and field based with the office being based in Nottingham
* You will look to maximise on opportunities and look for future sales this will be done by constant contact with clients
* Seeking out when organisations are going for tender and the best way to be part of that tender process to become a supplier and listed meeting the requirements of their framework
* Analysing market seeing where products can be pushed
* Daily/Weekly feedback to Sales Manager UK for relevant issues.
* Realisation of the annual sales budget.
* Acquisition of new markets for company products.
* Monitoring the sales support activities of the Internal Sales Administrators.
* Observing and reporting all relevant product market and technological developments.
* Providing demonstrations, presentations and advice to customers.
* Promote themselves at trade fairs.
* Follow-up of responses coming from advertisements, mailings etc.
* Organise and provide technical training in collaboration with the SM to end users.
* Organise Roadshows, seminars and events.
* Support service department with technical advice.
* Daily reports of visits to line manager and senior
* Because of the types of products and services provided it can be a slow process from tender to sale order so ability to manage process is crucial.
* Meeting with clients across the UK
* Ability to plan your week, you will be liaising with a client portfolio that predominately work on shift patterns so knowing when and how to contact your clients is key
* Identify future opportunities for new business where possible
* Show casing product range when visiting clients (these can be heavy!)

What You'll Need

* Personable and likeable
* Ability to build up rapport quickly and long lasting
* Experience in a customer service or account management role is key
* An interest in Engineering is key

* Excellent training working closely to the manager for the first 6 months and going overseas to meet the manufactures to really understand the product
