The Role

We are currently recruiting for roles in:

Business Reporting;
Finance Operations; and
General Ledger.

Business Reporting

Typical activities include consolidating, understanding and explaining the business result, supporting the team in working with senior Business Partners on judgemental provisions and subjective areas, managing the business' balance sheet reconciliation process and external audits, assisting in the co-ordinating the completion of the business' Annual Plan, managing key elements of stock provisioning, key performance indicator and ad hoc reporting and explanation of business performance.

Operations

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the purpose of the role is to manage a wide variety of matters associated with the Manufacturing Result and Stocks for one of the Regional sites within the UK. The information that you will provide will allow detailed site performance reporting to be produced and will be the basis for on-site decision making.

Under the guidance of the Senior Accountant, the Accountant acts as the link between the Business Reporting team and the on-site Finance Business Partners. This position is built around teamwork, working in a collaborative environment to meet the various stakeholder requirements.

Requires excellent attention to detail and continuous improvement ethos.

General Ledger

This role undertakes accounting and reporting activities for UK and European business', ensuring financial best practice is adhered to whilst consistently meeting service level agreements and meeting needs of Finance Business Partners, Business Reporting and Reporting & Group Control.

You will continuously enhance and improve processes within the GL team to ensure best practice within the finance function and support value added decision making within the business while ensuring the provision of a first class Finance service within nominated area delivered at an efficient functional cost, with effective internal controls and management of risk.



Who we are looking for



* You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and a qualified accountant with one of the recognised bodies (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
* You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues of all levels.
* You will also have strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. You will be computer literate especially in the use of Microsoft Office.
