Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a passion for your line of work? Do you want to work for a renowned organisation in Birmingham? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!!

An amazing opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy team in Birmingham.

Role Details:



* 2 year contract
* £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
* Free on-site parking
* Early Friday finish

Duties to include:



* Code financial transactions and check invoices
* Work out VAT payments
* Process payments
* Processing a high volume of invoices
* Pay out money by BACS or by cheque
* Check and reconcile supplier statements
* Preparation of monthly & yearly management accounts
* Deal with purchase enquiries
* Review employee expenses
* Batching invoices
* Complete VAT return forms
* Liaising with other departments

Skills/Experienced required:



* 3+ years experience in a similar role is essential!
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* SAP experience is essential
* Excellent standard of maths
* Intermediate to advanced Excel user - including pivot tables and v-lookups
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Time management
* The ability to work autonomously
* Previous experience of working to deadlines
* MS Office proficiency
