Are you looking for an exciting opportunity where you can use your strong relationship and account management skills to manage and expand a lucrative portfolio of accounts? Do you have prior experience working for a Publishing business? If so, we are currently recruiting for a leading Publisher based in the City of London for an experienced Advertising Account Manager to lead our client's reputable Publishing strategy.

The aim of the Advertising Account Manager will be to maximise revenues from a variety of established and new business clients, in print, online and events. Also, to assist in implementing sales strategies and working with other departments to ensure the success of all projects.

Benefits:

Starting salary between £30,000 - £40,000 + OTE £50,000, benefiting from a lucrative accounts base, providing immediate financial success.
OTE, £50,000K +

Duties:

*Attendance at key industry events and client meetings
*International travel
*Regular liaison with key contacts at membership organisations
*Sell at a high level opportunities, such as native advertising, thought leadership, webinars and cross platform packages.
*Excellent knowledge of the publishing industry and key advertising markets
*In-depth understanding of client industry and markets
*Liaise with production, finance and account management teams to ensure smooth running
*of your projects
*Assist with creating and implementing sales strategies for your accounts
*Identify new areas for lead generation and sales growth

The Requirements:

*Previous experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably come from a similar sales environment.
*Consultative B2B sales/retention/subscription based account management experience would be an advantage
*Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
*Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
*The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximise product potential
*Confident and intelligent sales manner
*On and offline media sales experience
*Competitive spirit
*Passion and Enthusiasm
*Experience of working in a target driven environment
