A/C Engineer

Salary (£28,000) depending on skills and qualifications.

Hours: 7.30am-4pm, alternating weeks with 8.30am-5pm

I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a main Facilities Management company, who are looking to expand their team. You will be working on a large static site in Blackburn.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join the team; This is a static role where you will carry out maintenance, fault finding, repair and small installation work.

Main duties will include…

* Maintain all Air conditioning equipment and assist with all other PPM routines on site
* Liaise with the Facilities Manager for both demand and planned maintenance tasks and respond to other requests as necessary
* Undertake risk assessments for reactive and pre-planned maintenance to ensure safe working practice
* Report any mechanical/electrical problems affecting the day-to-day operations to the Technical Supervisor
* Ensure Site Activity Log Books are completed in a timely and accurate manner and are maintained in accordance with procedures
* Produce monthly and ad-hoc reports as required for the Manager
* Participate in an Emergency Call Out Service as required in accordance with the Out of Hours Rota

Successful candidates should ideally hold a recognised qualification in AC (F-Gas), and proven experience of another trade within a maintenance setting.

Required experience:

* City and Guilds F/Gas
* Facilities Management experience
* Full driving license
* PDA/computer literate
