Application Support - London - £32,000 to £34,000

This is a great opportunity for someone to join the IT deparment of one of the worlds largest transportation companies as a Business Application Support Assistant. The company have a number of IT systems which cover key areas of operational business activities and they are looking to grow the size and number of systems over the next few years.

It really is a great opportunity to be part of a well established and expanding organisation.

They are looking for someone who can provide user support for their applications. These systems need to operate efficiently, effectively and reliably so they deliver on its commitments to management, other regions, partners, suppliers, customers and regulators.

You will be responsible for:

* Pro-active monitoring of various aspects of IT system performance
* Registration of Helpdesk tickets
* Provide 1st line application support
* Tracking to conclusion, simple and complex issue resolutions
* Assisting with the development of effective counter-measures & action plans
* Assisting with the analysis, management & maintenance of business & system data
* Effective communication with system users at all levels

You will be rewarded with an excellent package that includes a generous salary of circa £32,000 - £34,000 depending on experience and other great benefits.
