Have you got a BSc or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology? Are you looking to buy into the culture and team of a growing company?

I am currently recruiting for a Architectural Technician for an award-winning housebulding company located in Livingston. A successful candidate will have a background in design with a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience.

Responsibilities:



* You will be leading detailed designs and the administration of residential development and house range projects.
* The ability to identify and manage risks through coordination and design info in line with project programmes.
* Supporting the Senior Design Manager in teaching and mentoring teams and individuals demonstrating strong leadership.
* Preparing technical and construction drawings.
* Keep in contact with external consultants and suppliers to ensure consistent designs are delivered.
* Ensure teams are adhering to statutory requirements (NHBC, planning, building control etc) whilst identifying improvements in construction techniques and details.

Requirements:



* BSc or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology.
* Auto Cad and MS off suite experience is essential.
* aware of CDM Regs and NHBC standards.
* 7 years post qualification experience in the residential sector.
* Strong design awareness combined with a proven capability for producing quality drawings and detailed construction experience.
