Randstad have an exciting opportunity with a leading Irish based distribution group supplying into the engineering and construction sectors.

We are looking to recruit an experienced area sales executive with experience of selling to the water, sewage and civil engineering sectors.

You will have the drive, determination and ability to work within an existing team to develop sales and support for existing and new products, providing technical solutions and services to new and existing customers and markets.

Qualifications and experience
* Self-motivated and passionate, you must have great communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to build strong working relationships and work on your own initiative are key.
* Good presentation skills, ability to communicate at a senior level and interact with a diverse customer base.
* Good organisational, analytical and problem solving skills.
* Proven track record and desire to take responsibility and identify opportunities and drive ideas to achieve successful conclusions.
* A full driving licence.

Responsibilities
* Interface with customers' pre and post sales on major projects.
* Preparation of tenders, proposals and quotations.
* Expanding and developing our hire and tooling business.
* Carrying out range enhancement and new product feasibility studies.
* Expansion of our civils product range and scope of supply.
* Providing on-site product support and specialist training.


The role will be Northern Ireland based but will involve some travel throughout Ireland and the UK.
