An opportunity for an asbestos administrator has opened up at a national environmental specialist contractor based in Basildon. The company have a very strong forward order book and as such have a busy and vibrant office environment where they are able to offer candidates good career progression and further training opportunities.

The Role:

* To assist with planning and administrate the consultancies asbestos survey, re-inspection contracts and obligations.
* Liaison with Housing & Property clients and contractors, ensure that an excellent customer service is provided
* To ensure that any asbestos survey or removal works are executed in accordance with legislative requirements and that all documents and paperwork relating to survey works are stored on the in-house database to provide a clear auditable chain of information.
* Managing surveyors and operatives diary's ensuring they have necessary workload for any given day.

To assist setting up a survey programme and monitor survey and removal works from the Consultancies portfolio and ensure all works are undertaken to comply with the current legislation and best practice.


Checking staff and Contractors undertaking work are suitably trained for the works they undertake and monitor records.

About You:

* Appropriate administrative experience preferably gained working within a UKAS consultancy or ARCA removals contractor.
* Experience of using Multibase is ESSENTIAL
* Educated to a minimum GCSE level or appropriate work experience
* Competant Microsoft Office user (word, excel etc)
* P402 qualification (beneficial)
