This special school, founded in the London borough of Lambeth, caters for students with complex needs, aged between 10-19 years. Most of the students have ASD, SLD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties.

The school's main focus is to ensure that each and every student achieves their goals and progresses in their education as well as in their social, emotional and physical development.

They are consequently seeking a practitioner with KS3 & KS4 experience who is confident in their ability to engage and inspire pupils to achieve their best, in line with the school's ethos.

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold QTS

- Have proven experience of teaching in a Secondary capacity

- Be experienced working within a SEN setting, ideally with ASD/ SEMH

- Be aware and have full knowledge of recent changes to the national curriculum

- Have experience of planning, delivering and teaching lessons to a good or outstanding level

You will be working with small to medium groups as the learners have complex needs and you will be expected to:

- Prepare learning materials and supervise support staff

- Have the ability to differentiate work according to each child's individual ability

- Be a positive role model

- Keep records and attend review meetings
