Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for an Assistant Commissioning Engineer to work on a Crossrail Project in Central London.

Roles & responsibilities:

* Carry out document reviews and updates for procedures and method statements.
* Prepare risk assessments
* Go to planning meetings and make planning applications
* Visit Stations and meet the contractors with regard to getting us access to carry out our tasks.

Successful Candidate:

* Somebody experienced in rail sector would be ideal but not essential.
* Must be computer literate to a good level and be able to use excel and word.
* Able to understand general engineering principles
* Experience of pipework and pipe systems would be an advantage.
* Be used to working both in an office environment and site environment as site visits will be required.
* Would suit a person who has come from the tools (pipefitter, welder) who can apply their knowledge to the processes and method statement.


* City and Guilds / NVQ related to mechanical systems.
* Minimum CSCS card showing competence in a related discipline
* Does not necessarily need to be degree level but this may effect money
