Do you have 12 months experience? Are you looking for a permanent position where you can develop your career?

I'm looking for a Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join my client, a growing subcontractor who turnover £50m across the construction industry specialising in groundworks and bulk excavation. This is a permanent position based on projects in and around East London. The ideal candidate would have 12 months experience working in a similar capacity either from the main or subcontractor and be eager to progress through the business.

Location: London

Roles and responsibilities:

* Preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, tender documents, interim valuations of the construction
* Provide general support in the cost management and financial reporting
* Attend meetings to provide QS input, review project progress and present project data as appropriate
* Working on own projects as appropriate

Candidate Requirements:

* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND (not necessary)
* Working knowledge of NEC/JCT
* Have a very good work ethic and be willing to work hard
