The client are one of the UK's top 10 house builders with a regional office based in Surrey that specialises in the development of traditional build housing throughout Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.

They are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to be based out of their office, to work alongside their already existing commercial team to assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor in running their very large flagship development in Hampshire. Candidates must have at least 3 years experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a house builder and must be based within an hour of Chertsey. Due to the level of experience required the client have stated they would be looking to pay up to £45k + package.

Responsibilities

* Preparing tender and contract documents, this will include bills of quantities with the client.
* Performing risk, value management and cost control.
* Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations in the UK
* Preforming Value management and cost control.
* Arranging payments and valuing completed work.
