Assistant Manager, Gloucestershire

Domiciliary Care Agency

An Assistant Manager is required to join an established domiciliary care agency based in Gloucestershire. This is a permanent opportunity offering 0830am - 530pm hours, 1 weekend on call in 5, and working one evening per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a worldwide franchise with 174 offices across the UK. You will be working in an established office of 6.5 years whom were awarded Best Employer in Care of 2017.

Duties and responsibilities:



* Field new client enquiries over the phone and assist with the scheduling of service visits.
* Carry out service visits to new clients, completing assessments and all new client paperwork as required.
* Assist with the creation of care plans, ensuring they are completed, reviewed and updated in accordance with the agencies standards.
* Undertake client engagement activities, including regular contact calls and client correspondence.
* Assist with the coordination and operation of our client Quality Assurance system, including maintaining and updating the computerized system and hard copy records.
* Carry out quality audits and service reviews.
* Ensure issues arising from client and CAREGiver feedback are communicated to the Care Manager and team members as appropriate and that follow up takes place in a timely manner.
* Enter and maintain accurate client records on the computerized system and hard copy files.
* Carry out CAREGiver introductions to clients, spot checks, on-site assessments and observations, supporting CAREGivers to develop required levels of skills, knowledge and ability as well as approach.
* Take part in the on-call rota.
* Assist with client networking activities and events.
* Assist in ensuring the requirements of the CQC and the Franchise Standards are met at all times.
