Position: Assistant Technical Coordinator
Location: Site (various locations)
Package: Up to £40,000 + Package

Are you looking to gain more experience in construction to move your way into management? Would you be interested in working for one of the UK's leading main contractors within the M25? Are you looking for a role where you can further develop your skills set?

One of my partnership clients is looking for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join their team on a new project they are currently working on. This is an exciting time for someone to join them as they are looking to expand their team to accommodate for the increase in projects. The suitable candidate would be offered a competitive salary and package.

This project entails mid to high rise RC Frame buildings to accommodate 600units, build value of around £130 Million based in East London/Essex. The candidate would be based on site.

Duties and Responsibilities:



* Report to the Technical Manager
* Check all drawings and details for accuracy and correctness
* Liaise with external consultants to ensure deadlines are met.
* Attend site visits and meetings in order to solve issues that arise during the constructions process.
* Ensure that new regulation and legislation requirements are followed
* Ability to recognise potential issues and implement strategies or overcome them
* Ensures company standard of service and delivers on time
* Produce Cost Plans
* Develop the pre-construction programme
* Hold and attend management meetings

Requirements:



* Experience working for a main contractor
* Willingness to learn more to become a more all rounded candidate
* Able to commute between the sites
* Confident to work independently and as part of a small team
* Ambitious and able to work under own initiative
